Here you will find everything about me; I love a good ramble. I'm very interesting. I love dogs. Hey! Who knew I had the aptitude for this sort of deep philosophising? This is why first person narrative kicks ass; I get to ramble about myself in ways that woo an otherwise anonymous predisposed audience who are just looking for any excuse to eat me alive. Here I can radiate my awesomeness upon you through the power of words alone, while I attempt to impress without sounding like a self-obsessed narcissist with delusions of grandeur. On greater reflection I suppose that is why many people choose the third person, to distance themselves from their narratives. Calm. Collected. Professional. Two things escape the consideration of such wordsmiths; the wit of kings, and the fact it fools nobody; you are not interesting enough for other people to write about you. Deep, brother. Deep.
